Your Summer Glow-Up Guide.

Summer is right around the corner, and if you’re like me, the memes are already making you panic about getting that “summer body” together .
Everything on my social media feed lately looks so good. The food? Fire. The recipes? Quick and easy. That’s where they get me every time!
If you’ve been rocking with me since Day 1, you already know...I’m always on a lil diet. My friends and fam love to clown me (lol), but low-key...They be listening.
So I’m sharing some short, sweet, and super simple tips that actually work. I’ve learned the easier and simple the lifestyle change, the longer I stick with it. Consistency is everything.
*Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor, nutritionist, or trainer, but I do know them, and I ask a lot of questions. I’m just here to share what’s helped me.
1. Hydrate Like a Pro
Aim for at least 64 oz. of water a day. I swear by my water bottle with time markers helps me track my intake and stay on it all day. Not a water person? Add fruit! Lemon water is my go-to. Simple. Refreshing. Effective.
2. Treat Yourself (But Smartly)
The best advice I’ve ever heard?
“The food will always be there.”
A craving lasts for a moment. You satisfy it… and then feel guilty. Let’s break that cycle. Practice portion control instead. I once read about an actress who eats just one French fry a day. Now, I’m not saying go that far (lol), but having a lil sumn can go a long way. Don’t let your mind talk you out of your goals!
3. Move Your Body...Just a Little
You’ve got 15–20 minutes...I promise.
I aim for 10K steps a day (shoutout to my Apple Watch ). Even on busy days, if you’ve got time to scroll IG or TikTok, you’ve got time to move. Walk, stretch, dance, just do something. Your body will thank you.
4. Protect Your Peace
This one right here… whew. So important.
Start with just 5 minutes of stillness each day. Pray. Breathe. Meditate. Journal. Whatever makes you calm do it. Your mind needs rest. You can’t keep pouring from an empty cup. Take your peace seriously.
5. Skincare + SPF = Glow Game STRONG
I don’t wear as much makeup these days (maybe it’s a mindset shift or maybe it’s the Florida heat ), but what I do have is good skincare. My current faves: Sunday Riley + a scoop of collagen daily. Pair that with your hydration? You’ll be glowing in no time.

You don’t have to do all five at once. Pick one and start. Every year when June hits, I remind myself:
“We’re halfway through the year, get to it, Rach.”
