I Gave Up Added Sugar for 40 Days… Here’s What Happened

It’s been a MINUTE since I’ve written a blog post, but if there was ever a reason to dust this thing off, this is it.

Forty days ago, I challenged myself to give up added sugar.

Not fruit. Not naturally occurring sugar. Added sugar.

And listen… I knew sugar was in a lot of things.

Sauces. Drinks. Snacks. Condiments. Foods I wouldn't have even thought twice about.

Suddenly, I was reading every label like there was going to be a quiz at the register.

But somewhere along the way, something changed.

I stopped looking at this as something I was simply trying to “get through” and started learning how to make better choices without making food miserable.

And I kept sharing the journey online.

The things I was eating. What I was learning. The products I found. The things that surprised me. The days that were easy and the days when a dessert would've had to do VERY little convincing.

And that’s when I realized...

I should put all of this somewhere.

So I did.

I MADE A LITTLE GUIDE!

I created the Rach Wrote That No Sugar Added Guide for anyone who has watched my journey and thought:

Okay... but how would I actually start?

I wanted something simple.

Not intimidating. Not a hundred pages. Not something telling you that you can never enjoy a piece of birthday cake again because PLEASE.

Just an easy guide to help you understand added sugar, know what to look for, find swaps and feel a little more prepared when you're ready to start.

And now it's officially here. 🎉

The guide is only $9.99 and available for instant download below.

Maybe you're ready for 40 days.

Maybe you're starting with 7.

Maybe you just want to understand what the heck you're looking at on a nutrition label.

Start where you are.

I'm not a doctor or nutritionist, and this guide isn't medical advice. It's simply me sharing what I've learned and what helped me during my own journey.

If my experience can make somebody else's first step a little easier, then creating this was worth it.

Ready? Click the guide above and let's get into it.

Love, Rach 💕
